Classical Philology

Classical Philology primarily focuses on original masterpieces of ancient literature such as Homer’s epics, Plato’s dialogues, Greek and Roman tragedies, Cicero’s speeches, and Virgil’s works. The program’s graduates are prepared to work as secondary school teachers of ancient languages and antiquity cultures. Other possibilities include academic libraries, publishing houses, media, and other institutions requiring education in the humanities.
