All state institutions of higher education in Lublin offer housing in residence halls. Students can also rent a room in privately-owned residence halls or live off-campus.

If you rate your privacy, it is a good idea to rent a room in a private apartment. Students who prefer to live off-campus should look for a room to let in districts such as Wieniawa, LSM, Śródmieście, Czuby, Konstantynów, Czechów, Bronowice, Kalinowszczyzna or Rury.

In Lublin you can find a lot of vegetarian and vegan restaurants. It is no problem to find also gluten-free dishes here.
In the evening you can visit one of the Places of Inspiration. You can eat delicious and cheap dishes in a restaurant such as Pyzata Chata, Galeria Smaku, LanczoMania or in a university canteen, such as Bazylia UMCS.

In Lublin you can use public transport – buses or trolley buses. You can also travel around the city by cabs, bikes, scooters and cars for rent. Lublin is connected with other cities by bus lines and train lines. You can start your international travel in Airport Lublin.

All public universities and one private in Lublin have residence halls. It is possible to rent a room also in privately-owned residence halls. The rent per one month there varies from 300 PLN to 600 PLN. In privately-owned residence halls this cost can vary from 550 PLN to 950 PLN.

Apostille is a certificate that allows for official documents issued in one country to be legally recognised in another. Documents from countries which signed the “Hague Convention for Foreign Public Documents” (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Moldova) should have Apostille.

Countries which are not part of this convention must follow a legalization procedure which is normally done by their Ministry of Education of the country.

Here students can realize their passions and take part in university events. They can also find a lot of places with live music, places of entertainment (including cinemas, theatres, philharmonic hall, bowling alleys, roller-skating rinks, ice rinks) and the places of sport and recreation (such as gyms, swimming pools, sports fields, SPA, athletics stadium). Students are welcome in clubs, restaurants and coffee shops, where they can get a lot of discounts.

Annually in May, universities in Lublin organise some celebration days for students. These days begin with a colourful parade and last about 3-4 weeks.
