Applied informatology

Informatology is a scientific discipline that combines information resources, information processes, and information competence. Studying this discipline will provide the graduate with the knowledge of the whole theoretical and practical issues related to politics and information activities, particularly the collection, documentation, selection, processing, archiving of information and its distribution, i.e., information resources management. It will allow you to learn about models of information competencies and behaviors, the characteristics and types of information sources, formulate search and information retrieval strategies and learn about the economics and ecology of information, architecture, visualization, and usability information sources.
