Military geography and crisis management

First in Poland and second in Europe programm of this kind. After graduation, students will receive a sciences engineer title.

Program is an answer to rising demand on the labor market, mainly in uniformed and civilian services.

It combines interdisciplinary knowledge and practice in the field of geography, geology, crisis management, human resource management, geographic information systems (GIS), issues related to defense, psychology, and law. The key elements of the study program are subjects focused on environmental and socio-economic analyzes, forecasting geohazards and military threats, and designing activities ensuring security. Both in the laboratory and during numerous field exercises, students learn to obtain data about area and use it for defense and proper response in crisis situations. During the studies, the knowledge necessary for effective communication and information management is also presented.

Under the supervision of specialists, the student learns to pilot drones, use 3D laser scanners, martial arts, and the basics of shooting. Qualified academic staff and experts from the external environment conduct classes.
