Herbology and Phytoproducts

Herbology and phytoproducts are the first course in Poland that discusses issues related to the broadly understood herbalism and herbal medicine. Herbalism is a branch of knowledge dealing with identifying, breeding, cultivation, harvesting, and researching plants used in prophylaxis, pharmaceutical, cosmetology, and dietetics. It also covers issues related to the preparation of medicinal plant raw materials from natural sites and cultivation and their processing and storage. The process of growing, harvesting, and processing plants is subordinated to using the obtained raw material in the pharmaceutical, perfumery and cosmetic, food, and household industries
