Animal Behavior is the first and unique faculty in Poland on a state university, where you can deal with questions relating to animal behavior in the broadest sense.

Studies help you understand:
• mechanisms responsible for the occurrence of a particular type of behavior;
• relationships between stimuli and responses based on which one can predict the behavior in certain situations, indicating those which caused given behavior including unwanted or dangerous with the possibility of elimination;
• linking the living conditions of animals (welfare) of different species and utility groups of their emotional (psychological) needs in terms of species-typical behaviors

The graduates are prepared to work with animals based on in-depth knowledge of different species of animals’ behavior. It has jurisdiction to assess animal behavior, diagnose, and resolve behavioral problems and maintain optimal conditions, training and animal usage, including welfare.
